The Moleface Pub Company brings their original take on a traditional London gastro pub food and shabby chic interior to the leafy village of Burton Joyce in the form of the newly refurbished Lord Nelson - country life - a stones throw from the city.

Pioneering the presence of gastro pubs outside of London, the Lord Nelson will offer good quality locally sourced food ranging from lunchtime bar meals to 3-course evening dinners to weekend breakfasts and family friendly dining at Sunday lunchtime.
An Award Winning Team
The team behind the Lord Nelson are also responsible for The Larwood & Voce at West Bridgford, The Wollaton and The Royal Oak at Radcliffe-on-Trent. Executive Chef and co-owner John Molnar will ensures the same high standards, that have won accolades at the Observer Food Monthly Awards and the Nottingham Restaurant Awards, are extended to customers of the Lord Nelson.

With leather upholstered furniture and a uniquely retro feel, the Lord Nelson is the perfect place to enjoy a casual lunch or a boozy dinner. Like a traditional pub you’ll find real ales and guest beers, but more than that the Lord Nelson offers an extensive wine list and signature cocktails as well as the choice of dining indoors or alfresco in the summer months.
A laid-back restaurant for St Valentine's day - the Lord Nelson is the perfect venue for any celebration - don't wait for Mother's Day or Father's day to take Mum & Dad out for a real treat. Our regular offers make dining in our restaurant a pleasure on the pocket as well as the palate. Sunday Lunch is a delight with a seasonal menu of locally sourced ingredients.
The Moleface Pub Company is the brain child of John Molnar (the former head chef of bluu and Red House), local businessman Matt Cullen and Matt Saunders and Simon Patterson both of Fat Cat Group. Together, their collective CV reads like a who’s who of the East Midlands restaurant and bar industry.
