Business Innovation Award 2010Pub outbuilding converted into a pizzeria with British pizza toppings for eating in and taking away. The concept was the idea of Moleface Pub Company's managing director John Molnar.

Toppings include Full English - cured smoked bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato and egg (£7.95); Sunday Roast - peppered roast beef, horseradish and rocket (£7.95); Gammon & Pineapple (£7.95) and Fish Pie - baked salmon, anchovy, prawn, spinach and cream (£7.95).

Also on offer are home-made ice creams with flavours including apple crumble and custard; jam roly-poly, and treacle tart. The ice creams cost £1 a scoop and are served in cones made by the pub's chefs. These are served from a hatch in the pizzeria. Weekly gourmet pizza specials are also on offer and have included rabbit and truffle oil. Gourmet pizza and wine-tasting nights at £15 per person, with six wines matched to six pizzas, are also on offer.

The pizzeria has helped to draw new customers into the pub and increased wet sales, with those customers collecting a pizza also having a drink.
